Try it at the keyboard

  1. Practise the descending lines in bars 5–7 and 13–15 with the right hand alone first so your fingering is smooth.
  2. Land the left-hand dotted minims firmly on beat 1 of each bar.
  3. Bring out the dramatic E♭ peak in bar 10 before resolving back to A minor.
